At J-CAD Inc., we specialize in transforming ideas from concept into real-world products through the whole manufacturing process from idea to CAD design, CAD design to prototype, prototype to full scale manufacturing run. Since 2006, our dedicated team has partnered with inventors, entrepreneurs, and companies of all sizes to bring their product and part ideas to life.
Our team is made up of a diverse group of experts who care about precision and efficiency, and who are great at solving problems. Our projects are fast-moving, and can be technically challenging, so we’re always on the look out for CAD and engineering pros who are able to think critically, follow instructions well, work on projects independently (our team is 100% remote), care about attention to detail and who deliver results.

What We Look For In New Hires
Our ideal team members care about details, can motivate themselves, have strong technical and design / engineering skills and the ability to think critically and solve problems when coming up against design or production challenges.
Key things we look for:
- Strong abilities with CAD software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent
- Good understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and detail-oriented
- Experience working remotely with minimal supervision
Experience with 3D printing, rapid prototyping, or injection molding is a bonus!
